There are several airports you can fly into:
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
3 hour drive to Elk - Oakland International Airport (OAK)
3 hour drive to Elk - Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS)

☎️ Cell Phone Coverage
Cuffey’s Cove and the Elk area have very limited cell phone coverage, keep this in mind when you’re planning your route.

🌊 Highway Options
Highway 1
If you haven’t driven Highway 1 we highly recommend it! Highway 1 drives right along the coastline and is an unbelievably beautiful drive.
Keep your eyes peeled for whales 🐋 (unless you’re the driver, sorry) Blue whales and Humpback whales make their way through in June and we see them all the time!
The 101
The 101 onto the 128 is the most direct route to Elk. Though not a coastal drive, the second half is lovely. You’ll pass through redwood forests, Boonville, and the Anderson Valley 🍷 No whales, though
If you have the time, though, make a day of it and enjoy the countryside along the way!
